Washington Square Restaurant

Simple but tasty bar food!  We were the only table of people for lunch, but the food was excellent!    In-house seasoned wings were great, beef on well perfectly portioned on a nice crispy bed of fries.    I bet when it’s a full house, it’s a lot of fun.    Will return!

This was a dive bar and I was here for it! It’s a vibe! Cheap drinks and just great! Only had a couple beers and a Jack and coke for 12 bucks! Staff even thought we left our ball game tickets and chased after us!

The best

Today was the worst experience ever at Washington Square. New owners, very limited menu (nothing other than wings, that we went for). Very very understaffed, and literally frisbee service.  Sorry to see what this establishment has become. I have been going for over 25 years, and reluctantly will say I won&apos;t be back.

Not what it was!

Sono capitato a Buffalo sei giorni dopo la tremenda sparatoria del 17 maggio. La città era completamente deserta e pochi erano i locali aperti, tra cui appunto questo Washington Square. Ho provato l&apos;hamburger di pollo con il blue cheese: davvero molto buono, così come la salsa che accompagnava le patatine (queste ultime non eccelse però). Il locale, invece, alquanto triste e buio, la coca alla spina faceva schifo (ma costava solo 1$ se non erro) e l&apos;acqua aveva un sapore orribile (forse colpa del ghiaccio). Personale molto gentile. 4 stelle per questo e per il burger, altrimenti sarebbe stato molto meno. Se ci capitate, chiedete la birra o un acqua/bibita in bottiglia!

Hamburger buonissimo, il resto da migliorare

I took place in Buffalo six days after the tremendous shooting of May 17th, the city was completely deserted and few of them were open spaces, including this Washington Square. I tried a chicken hamburger with blue cheese: really very good, as well as the salsa accompanied the potatoes (the latter did not excelze). The room, however, was rather sad and dark, the spine coke was bad (but it cost only $1 if I didn't get wrong) and the water had a terrible taste (maybe because of ice). 4 stars for this and for the burger, otherwise it would have been much less. If you happen to us, ask for beer or a bottle of water/drink!
